Caramel Apple Dip
Y'all this is the easiest recipe, and it's kind of healthy (ha, not really... but, there are apples!) I brought it to a party last week, and everyone asked for the recipe, so I figured I would post it on the blog! This is the perfect dish to bring to a holiday party - it's an appetizer and a dessert all in one, and it's not too heavy!
Caramel Apple Dip
Ingredients:
- 2 blocks of cream cheese (softened)
- 1 jar of caramel sauce
- 1 bag of Heath pieces (or you could be an overachiever and crush the Heath bars yourself!)
- Granny Smith apples cut into 1/2" thick slices
- 1 lemon
Steps:
1) In a serving bowl, mix the cream cheese, half the caramel dip, and half the Heath pieces
2) Top the dip with the remaining caramel and heath pieces
3) Cut up the apple and sprinkle with a little lemon juice (to keep them from turning brown)
4) Serve immediately :)
